Local 7s tournaments sponsored by Paradise Beverages has assisted in increasing the nation’s vaccination numbers - Joe Rodan Snr

The General Manager Sales and Corporate Affairs of Paradise Beverages Fiji Limited, Joe Rodan Snr says the local 7s tournaments they have been sponsoring has been assisting in the nation’s vaccination numbers.

Speaking at the launch of the 46th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s, Rodan says the number of fully vaccinated eligible Fijians in Taveuni rose from 40% to 92% after the Wariki 7s.

He says they believe sponsoring local 7s tournaments is helping bring Fiji to some normalcy and helps drive the economy of Fiji.

Meanwhile, 72 teams will take part in the 46th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s where 48 teams will compete in the Men's category, 8 teams in the Women's category and 12 teams will compete in the Under 21 category.

The Marist 7s will be held from the 24th to the 26th of March next year at the ANZ Stadium.
