Liverpool suffer first defeat in 44 matches in EPL

English Premier League leaders Liverpool have suffered their first loss in the EPL this season after going down 3-0 to Watford this morning.

Ismaila Sarr scored twice for Watford while Troy Deeney added a third.

Liverpool had not lost in their previous 44 matches in the EPL which included 18 consecutive wins.

Meanwhile, Marcos Alonso scored twice as Chelsea were held to a 2-2 draw by Bournemouth.

In other matches Crystal Palace beat Brighton 1-0 while West Ham beat Southampton 3-1.

Liverpool still lead the points table with 70 points while Manchester City are second with 57 points.
