Head Girl of Nabua Secondary School, Ateca Leba, led 450 students during their Cadet Passout Parade and was awarded the Best Female Cadet.
The Muani, Ravitaki, Kadavu student marshalled her peers well, entertaining hundreds of parents and guardians who witnessed the passing out ceremony.
Leba says this cadet session has taught her to discipline herself, be punctual in everything and always be ready for any circumstance.
Leba, who has maternal links to Namuamua in Namosi, dedicated the success of the parade to her parents, guardians, teachers and fellow students for their collective efforts.
She urged upcoming students to never give up in life, no matter how hard the challenges get, always do their best, and trust that the Lord will do the rest.
Assistant Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Sakiusa Tubuna, reminded the students to continue working together for the betterment of their village, the development of their settlements, and the nurturing of Fiji’s future leaders, just as envisioned by the founders of the institution.
