Leader of the Unity Fiji Party, Savenaca Narube is calling on the people of Fiji to make 2018 the year of unity.
This is Narube’s New Year’s message and he believes what the country needs above all else is unity.
He says that over the years, we have heard calls for unity but we all know that merely calling for unity is not enough.
Narube believes that unity is always anchored in fundamental values and is based on respect, tolerance and understanding of each other’s preferences, traditions, and religion.
Narube stated that let 2018 be the year that this country comes together to chart a new future under a vision of unity.
