Lautoka Zone: Mesulame Tuigau and Ofa Loganilakeba of Natabua High School win Snr 100m

Mesulame Tuigau and Ofa Loganilakeba of Natabua High School

Mesulame Tuigau of Natabua High School is the Blue Ribbon champion of the Coca Cola Lautoka Zone.

Tuigau won the senior boys 100m with a manual time of 10.33 seconds.

Alipate Vuiwakaya of Natabua won the silver while Apenisa Robanakadavu of Tilak High School won the bronze.

In the girls 100m , Ofa Loganilakeba of Natabua won the senior girls 100m with a manual time of 11.77 seconds while Milika Drua Gunavanua of Jasper Williams High school won the silver and and Mereoni Kuru of Natabua won the bronze.

Peni Bula of Central College denied Natabua High School of a clean sweep as he ran a gutsy race to come from behind in the home stretch to win the senior boys 400 metres with a time 50.48 seconds at the Coca Cola Lautoka Zone.

Viliame Roko and Rusiate Bainivalu of Natabua won silver and Bronze respectively.

Natabua won the sub junior, junior and inter boys 400 metres finals.

The Lautoka Zone will continue today at Churchill Park.
