Lami has qualified to the semi finals of the Digicel Futsal IDC after beating defending champions, Suva 2-0 in their second match this evening.

After registering a convincing 7-0 win over Rakiraki yesterday, Suva failed to find the back of the net against a stubborn Lami outfit.

Jashnit Vikash and Ronish Singh scored a goal each for Lami as they remain the only unbeaten team in the competition.

Suva now has three points after two matches while Lami has secured six points.

Suva will face Rewa at 12.30pm tomorrow while Lami will take on Rakiraki at 1.45pm.

Meanwhile, Lautoka defeated Ba 3-0 in its second match this evening.

Taniela Waqa, Zibraz Sahib and Junior Wanetatha scored a goal each for the Blues.

Lautoka and Ba have three points each after two matches and will now head into the third round of matches tomorrow.

Earlier today, Madhwan Goundar and Ramzan Khan scored two goals each as Tailevu Naitasiri edged Nadi 4-3 in its second match.

Tailevu Naitasiri led 1-0 at the break and extended the lead in the second half.

Just when it seemed Nadi had made a perfect comeback after scoring two goals, Goundar scored the decisive goal for Tailevu Naitasiri in the 40th minute.

Shafim Buksh, William Valentine and Surjason Sami scored a goal each for Nadi.

This is Tailevu Naitasiri’s first win in the tournament as they were thrashed 4-1 by Ba yesterday.

In another match today, Rewa thumped Rakiraki 8-0.
