Lagakali House wins ACS inter-house

Lagakali House has won Adi Cakobau School’s Inter-house after winning 20 gold, 8 silver and 12 bronze medals at ANZ Stadium today.

Uci came second with 11 gold, 15 silver and 15 bronze while Mokosoi finished third with 11 gold, 11 silver and 10 bronze medals.

Kakala came fourth with 9 gold, 20 silver and 12 bronze medals.

Meanwhile, Kinisalote Navula was declared best athlete in the senior grade while her younger sister, Filomena Navula won the best athlete award in the junior grade.

The Navula sisters from Vunamoli in Nadi have dedicated their achievements to their parents and the Almighty after winning three gold medals for Lagakali House.

Kinisalote won gold in the senior girls 100 metres event while Filomena won gold in the sub-junior 100 metres and 200 metres finals.

ACS Athletics Meet Director Antonio Raboiliku says they ended their inter-house on a high note and have achieved beyond their expectations.
