Taxi driver, Jagdish Kumar is the owner of a brand new $65,000 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross after winning the Pacific Energy Fuel Up and Win Promotion today.

He says he tried to put in an entry everyday when fueled up at Pacific Energy Service Stations.

Kumar says he was at his daughter’s place in Waila in Nausori today when he got two missed calls on his phone.

The two calls were from someone at Pacific Energy who wanted to inform him that he had won.

Kumar says in September this year he will turn 65 and he was planning to stop driving the taxi and hire a driver.

He says it was just yesterday that he was telling his family that he was planning to buy a car when he stops driving the taxi in September.

Kumar says he has been driving a taxi since 1979 and winning this vehicle today is truly a blessing.
