Komo Island in Lau is now experiencing strong winds.

A teacher from Komo Village School says they experienced heavy rain last night but they are now experiencing strong winds.

The students have been advised to stay home.

Meanwhile people in Ono-i-Lau say they are now experiencing heavy rain and strong winds.
