Vodafone Fiji 7s captain Osea Kolinisau says they will not ride on their back to back World Sevens Series wins as they prepare to make history at the Rio Olympics.
Kolinisau says he is honored to be chosen to lead Fiji's first ever 7s team to an Olympic and is looking forward to do his best.
Meanwhile coach Ben Ryan says he has selected five forwards and seven backs.
Ryan also explains how he came about to making his decision on who to pick.
The 13 players who have been selected in the Fiji 7s men's team are captain Osea Kolinisau, Apisai Domolailai, Jasa Veremalua, Josua Tuisova, Kitione Taliga, Leone Nakarawa, Samisoni Viriviri, Savenaca Rawaca, Semi Kunatani, Vatemo Ravouvou, Viliame Mata and Jerry Tuwai.
Masivesi Dakuwaqa is the travelling reserve who will be staying outside the games village in Rio.
Meanwhile the Telecom Fijiana team to Rio includes captain Ana Roqica, Asenaca, Lavenia Tinai, Litia Naiqato, Luisa Tisolo, Merewai Drumu, Raijeli Daveua, Rebbeca Tavo, Rusila Nagasau, Timaimai Ravisa, Timaimai Tamoi, Viniana Raiwai while Joana Sauto is the travelling reserve.
The Vodafone Fiji 7s and Telecom Fijana 7s teams will undergo two more weeks of training at the Uprising Beach Resort training camp before leaving for Rio on the 26th of this month.
Fiji will take on Brazil in their first Rio Olympics pool game at 4.30am on August 10th, they will then face Argentina at 9.30am before taking on USA at 4.30am on August 11th.
