Olympic gold medal winning Fiji 7s captain Osea Kolinisau with family members.

The Kolinisau family was in celebration mode at Jubilee hall in Toorak today as they held a feast for Olympic gold medal winning Fiji 7s captain Osea Kolinisau.

Jubilee Hall was packed with Kolinisau’s young and old.

Family members also had the chance to take photos with Kolinisau’s gold medal.

Organiser of the celebration, Osea’s uncle, Filimone Kolinisau had said they were planning this celebration even before the team left Rio because they believed that the 7s team would bring back the gold.

He says that even Osea’s relatives from abroad and those from Ogea, Komo and Kabara have contributed to this occasion.

Speaking at the family celebration, Osea Kolinisau says family support was important for all of the players in the Fiji 7s team.

He says win or lose they could still rely on their family for support.
