Fiji's long distance running sensation, Yeshnil Karan has dedicated his two gold medal wins during the Palau 2025 Pacific Mini Games to his family and loved ones.
He says he feels proud that he won the 5,000 metres event and the half marathon which was very difficult.
Karan says the half marathon was tough as there were a lot of hills and he had stiff competition from Tahitian and Guam marathon runners.

The former Tavua College student says he trained in Brisbane for the Mini Games and other international events coming up.
Karan has thanked his supporters and the athletics team who were cheering for him during his events.
The 24-year-old says he was training with his team mates in Adelaide and with his coach Atma Maharaj.
Meanwhile Team Fiji finished second on the medal tally where athletics won 11 gold, 11 silver and 8 bronze medals.
