Sevens wizard, Waisale Serevi said it is now time to talk about the work related issues that the Fiji Rugby Union is talking about which resulted in him resigning from the Fiji 7s team coach's position after the IRB 7s last year.
Speaking from Taiwan, Serevi said FRU Chief Executive, Ratu Timoci Tavanavanua's statement earlier this week that he resigned due to some serious work related issues is his side of the story.
Serevi said he also has a number of issues that he now wants to discuss with the FRU.
Meanwhile the Manager of the Fiji 7s team for the last few tournaments in the 2007 IRB series has stressed that he did not receive any money or cheque from the hotel which used them for tourism promotional activities before last year's Hong Kong 7s.
Speaking to Fijivillage News, Epeli Lagiloa confirmed that they went for the promotional activities and as far as he is concerned, no money or cheque was handed to him.
He also reveals that FRU Chief Executive, Ratu Timoci Tavanavanua asked him about the payment in relation to the tourism promotional activity in Hong Kong last year.
Lagiloa said he cannot say anything on whether Waisale Serevi was given a cheque in relation to the promotional activity.
