Investigations continue into the fires at MH Homemaker and Hardware

Investigations continue into the fires at MH Homemaker and Hardware which occurred in Nausori last night and the MH Warehouse at Walu Bay which occurred on the 8th of this month.

Carpenters Group Fiji Retail and Marketing Director, Kunaseelan Sabaratnam says he would not like to speculate into the cause of fire or scope of damages at this stage.

 

Sabaratnam says forensic experts from Australia have arrived to look into the fires and Carpenters Group will release details once they are given the findings of the investigations.

MH Homemaker and Hardware, Sky Glory, a jewellery shop and a few restaurants were destroyed in a fire in Nausori Town late last night.

The MH Warehouse fire in Walu Bay which occurred on the 8th of this month was contained from spreading to the FMF and Paradise Beverages factories.
