Gas prices to go down from Tuesday

There is some relief for people as there will be a decrease in the price of gas from Tuesday however there will be a slight increase in the price of unleaded fuel and premix.

The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission says the price of a 13kg cylinder will decrease from $41.64 to $39.90 which is a drop of $1.74.

The price of a 12kg cylinder will decrease from $38.43 to $36.83 which is a drop of $1.60.

A 4.5kg cylinder will now cost $13.81.

The FCCC says the price of unleaded fuel will increase by 1 cent from $2.35 to $2.36 per litre, premix will now cost $1.97 per litre while the price of diesel will decrease from $1.94 to $1.89 per litre.

Kerosene remains unchanged at $1.43 per litre.

FCCC will conduct the next fuel and gas price review on 1st July 2021.
