Great defence and teamwork enabled the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team to defeat Australia 19-12 in the Oceania 7s last night.
The Fijiana displayed a lot of courage scoring three tries.
The Fiji Women’s team had lost to Australia 31-17 yesterday but had made necessary improvements in their game plan to come out victorious.
The Fijiana earlier defeated the Oceania 7s team 21-12, New Zealand beat Australia 34-5 and New Zealand defeated Oceania 34-7.
The Fijiana will face New Zealand at 3.14pm today and then play the Oceania 7s team at 8.33pm.
