The Fijian Drua boys have had the opportunity to play at the Super Rugby level and it has also provided a great opportunity for Fiji Rugby to have more players in the pathways which shows that it is working.

These were the words of Fiji Water Flying Fijians head coach Simon Raiwalui when he spoke about the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua players that have made the cut for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

Raiwalui says before coming into camp, they were just Fijian Drua players but now they are Flying Fijians.

He says the greatest thing that the team has now is the connection the players have within the group, especially the Fijian Drua players and the players from other clubs.

The Flying Fijians will head to Europe this week to prepare for their test matches against France and England.

The Flying Fijians will take on France in Nantes at 7.05am next Sunday before they head to Twickenham Stadium to play England on the 27th of this month.
