Attorney General and Minister for Economy, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says they are constantly talking to their development partners as to what Fiji can do to better position itself when a COVID-19 vaccine comes.

While speaking at the Levuka Town Hall, Sayed-Khaiyum says they are saying they need vaccine access and that the vaccine is not treated as a commercial commodity but as a social good.

Sayed-Khaiyum says it is important to make those positions now and be able to get access to finance.

He further says they also need to think outside the box adding that they want tourists to come to Fiji but they are also looking at alternative forms of revenue generation.

Sayed-Khaiyum also says that PAFCO plays a crucial role not just for Ovalau but also the Lomaiviti Group.
