Fiji Fashion Week is now running a weekly Style Challenge where members of the public are asked to style an outfit to a theme and share their photo for a chance to win great weekly prizes.

Fiji Fashion Week will announce its Style Challenge theme every Friday on their Facebook and Instagram pages.

Fashion style challenges are increasingly popular on social media with popular #stylechallenge holding over 600,000 posts.

Style Challenges are a fun way to turn your wardrobe into an ISO-playground by reinventing your looks to meet the challenge theme.

Fiji Fashion Week says Instagram is literally alive with challenge hashtags but Fiji Fashion Week is one of the only ones offering prizes for your efforts.

Partnered with Palmolive, FJFW will be giving out weekly prizes to the best style challenge look. Themes include family kala vata, bula business, white shoes and clubwear.

Managing Director Ellen Whippy-Knight says we love to have fun with fashion and this Style Challenge is a great way to reacquaint with your wardrobe and find those treasures that match the theme.

She says they are looking forward to seeing what you create and to sharing that look with our online audience.

Whippy-Knight says people can turn their living room into their own runway and capture their most creative interpretation of the weekly theme.

She says people have to tag it #fjfwstylechallenge to be in the competition.
