The Vodafone Fiji 7s team has defended the World Sevens Series title after thumping Australia 26-0 in their last pool match.
The side also booked their place in the London 7s quarterfinals.
Fiji will face France in their quarterfinal match at 10.20 tonight.
The national side showed an aggressive outing against the tough Australian side.
Fiji scored four tries as they maintain possession and committed to aggressive defence.
Fiji's tries were scored by Samisoni Viriviri, Jerry Tuwai, Kitione Taliga while captain Osea Kolinisau had the final say.
They were leading 12-0 at halftime.
Coach Ben Ryan was emotional and says one of their ultimate aim has now been achieved.
Captain Osea Kolinisau also praised the players for their effort.
Fiji had lost to England 10-31 in the first pool game and later thrashed Wales 42-5.
Looking at the other quarterfinals, South Africa will meet Argentina at 9.58 tonight, Fiji play France at 10.20, USA will face New Zealand at 10.42pm while Scotland will face England at 11.04 tonight.
The Cup semifinals start at 1:48am tomorrow.
The Cup final will kick off at 4:57am tomorrow.
