Fiji 7s climbs up to third place on the HSBC 7s series points table

The Fiji Airways Men’s National has climbed upto third place on the HSBC 7s series points table after the Los Angeles 7s.

The Fiji 7s team had lost the final to South Africa 29-24 in extra time.

Fiji led 19-7 at half time.

Fiji’s tries in the match came from Vilimoni Botitu, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Napolioni Bolaca and Jerry Tuwai.

South Africa made a strong comeback in the second half to take the match into extra-time.

New Zealand leads the table with 93 points while South Africa is second with 89 points.

Meanwhile, 3 Fijian players were included in the LA 7s Dream Team.

The players are Asaeli Tuivuaka, Napolioni Bolaca and Sevuloni Mocenacagi.
