A family of Natawa Tavua is still coming to terms with the loss of their family member who died in a road accident at Namaqu maqua road in Serua yesterday afternoon.
Forty two year old father of two Sada Sivan Naicker who was a truck driver left his home for Suva around 3am yesterday.
According to his sister, Vikashni Naicker he spoke to his wife at around 3pm yesterday afternoon and said that he will be home by 9 in the evening.
However after two hours they received a call and were informed that Naicker had passed away in an accident.
Naikcer leaves behind a wife and two children who are in year 12 and Year 6.
Meanwhile, police say the truck driver was trying to avoid a minivan.
According to police, he lost control and collided with an oncoming vehicle.
The truck he was driving was loaded with cement blocks.
Police say the man was trapped inside the truck and later died.
