The Fiji Electricity Authority is hopeful that their Nadarivatu Dam will be ready before the end of this year.
CEO Hasmukh Patel said the Dam is 65 percent complete and upon completion the load on Monasavu Dam will be shared.
Meanwhile, for Viti Levu, FEA is currently using 30 percent energy generated from the Monsavu Dam from last Sunday and 70 percent power is supplied by diesel generators which has increased their fuel bill.
