Permanent Secretary for Health, Doctor James Fong stresses that every traveller coming into Fiji is quarantined following comments put up on facebook by a former executive and politician.
Tomasi Vakatora has posted “Why was the wife of a senior civil servant not quarantined on her return from Australia on Monday? What role did her husband play in getting her to avoid quarantine?”
Doctor Fong says there is not a single individual travelling into Fiji who is allowed exemption from quarantine, and as quarantine authority he assures people, this is an absolute truth.
