Another passenger who was in critical condition at the Lautoka Hospital after the tragic road accident involving a Grace Farm truck, a private mini bus and a SUV in Nabou, Nadroga on the 6th of this month, passed away earlier today.
Police confirmed that Joseph Underwood who was a year 11 student at Korovuto College who was on life support is the eighth victim of this horrific accident.
When questioned by Fijivillage, Police spokesperson Jokatama Qio said that the investigation on what caused the road accident is still ongoing.
17‑year‑old Josevati Saukuru, a Year 12 student at Ratu Navula College was the seventh victim of this accident who passed away on Tuesday.
Six lives were lost on the 6th of this month, seven people are still admitted at the hospital while two boys have been discharged.
