An earthquake occurred last night at around 6.17pm and it was 36 kilometres North East of Doi Village in Ono I Lau Island.
The depth of the earthquake was 647 kilometres.
The Mineral resources department has informed Legend FM News as confirmed through telephone from Doi village there was no felt report.
The department says there was no extreme threat but they will keep monitoring for any further updates.
