Standing in line to pay fines for traffic related issues will now be a thing of the past.
Land Transport Authority in the last hour signed an agreement with Vodafone where drivers will be able to pay their fines using M-Paisa available 24 hours a day.
LTA CEO, Naisa Tuinaceva said the service is available free of charge and as soon as any payment is made, the Vodafone customer will receive an electronic receipt.
On the other hand LTA will get an online notification with full details of payment being made.
Fines can also be paid at any LTA Office or post office outlets.
