Santa Clause paid a surprise visit to the 29 children of Dilkusha Home today bearing gifts and food thanks to Outrigger on the Lagoon Resort from the Coral Coast.
Resort Manager Jason Zvatora said the trip down from Sigatoka is worth it, just to see the smile on the children’s faces.
And that’s not all as the prayers of the Sisters and children of the Home were answered this afternoon as Senior Management and Staff of the Fiji National Provident Fund paid a visit to the home to donate a washing machine which they were desperately in need of.
FNPF’s Assistance General Manager Prime Services Tevita Nagataleka said this is part of their obligation to give back to society.
Nagataleka revealed that the money was raised through donations from the staff and topped up by the management team.
Dilkusha Home Deaconess, Sister Olivia Nataniela said making our children happy is the true essence of Christmas.
Meanwhile, FNPF Staff in the Western and Northern Division are also visiting Childrens homes with gifts and food while, FNPF also handed out $1000 worth of book vouchers for the 26n children of Saint Christopher’s Home in Nakasi.
