Digicel Fiji Limited has today announced they will provide telecommunications support for the 2018 Fiji Fashion Week administration in their continued support of the fashion show.

Fiji Fashion Week will be held from the 21st to the 25th of May at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.

Digicel Fiji CEO, Mike Greig says they will support the fashion show with cash and telecommunications support including free wireless internet hotspots at the FMF Gymnasium.

Greig says earlier this year Digicel upgraded its network and switched on to 4G+ in Suva and the greater Suva area and their Superfast 4G+ wireless network will add value and boost publicity for the show providing reporters, fashion designers, boutique managers and spectators the opportunity to connect on Facebook, Tweet, blog, or surf and upload pictures and videos at great speed.

Fiji Fashion Week Director Ellen Whippy‑Knight says corporate sponsorship is vital for the growing industry and they are happy to see that Digicel realizes that fashion can be a medium to co‑market their products.

Whippy-Knight says they will contribute to changing mindsets and economically empower fashion designers and stakeholders and  support fashion textile in Fiji.
