Digicel Fiji has invested millions of dollars in bringing a truly world class telecommunication network to the country since October 2008 until date.

This was highlighted by Digicel Fiji Chief Executive Officer Mike Greig as Digicel marks its 10th year of existence in Fiji today.

Greig says that Digicel has seen innovation in the mobile market in the country and is proud of the company’s commitment to their customers.

Greig also highlighted how the competitive landscape in Fiji has helped push Fiji to become one of the leading telecommunication companies in the region.

Greig adds that since their launch 10 years ago they have brought the lowest calling rates and the lowest data rates in the region.

The company has also contributed to providing employment to over 100 Fijians to date.

Meanwhile, Digicel Public Relations Manager Satish Narain highlighted that Digicel has also been a key player in community support services.

They will be celebrating their birthday at Sukuna Park from this hour.
