Great news for sugarcane growers, as the tentative termination date for the 2025 crushing season at the Rarawai Mill is set for 11th January next year.
The Sugar Cane Growers Council emphasises that the tribunal will continue to monitor the harvesting and crushing progress before finalising the end date for crushing at the Rarawai Mill.
They also stress that the final order to terminate crushing at Rarawai Mill will be issued seven days prior to the end of the crush, following consultations with the Corporation and the Council.
