Digicel Fiji has today announced the launch of its superfast 4G network as their customers in key areas will now be able to access world class internet speed at home, work and on the go.

CEO Darren McLean said this is the cornerstone of Digicel’s recent investment of $70 million to expand and upgrade its high speed data network, which is the most significant investment since the operator launch in 2008.

He added initially customers in the greater Suva area, Nadi including Denarau island and the wider Lautoka area will enjoy this service as the roll out also continues on the existing network to bring nationwide 3G+ coverage.

He said there is a huge response from customers.

McLean said it is just the start of the journey today however in the next couple of months, more significant announcements will be made in terms of partnerships and propositions.
