Digicel Fiji and Punja and Sons today renewed their sponsorship deal with Netball Fiji for a term of one year.

Digicel Fiji CEO, Farid Mohammed says they are using netball to encourage people to be more active, and the partnership is building depth in the players development in the country.

Mohammed says they have seen a positive output from the sport in terms of developing talents for our women and that has encouraged them to extend the partnership.

Punjas Group Marketing Manager Gopal Jadhav says Punjas has supported Netball Fiji for years and wants to increase the popularity of the game and encourage more women to participate in the sport.

Jadhav says they see a huge potential in the benefits netball can contribute to women and our communities.

Netball Fiji CEO, Vivian Koster says they are delighted with the extension of this partnership and they know that this sponsorship would ensure that home competitions continue to support the development of the sport in general.
