Defending champions New Caledonia's AS PTT have kept their hopes of reaching a third consecutive OFC Futsal Men’s Champions League final alive with an 8-1 win over PNG’s Gulf Komara at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
They needed a victory by more than six goals to stay in contention and were leading 4–0 at half-time.
The defending champions continued their dominance in the second half to secure an 8–1 victory.
The win moves AS PTT to second place on the ladder, and they now depend on the ongoing match between Solomon Islands' Mataks and Vanuatu’s Southern Legions ending in a draw in order to qualify for the final.
Meanwhile, Suva will face the undefeated Waikato Rapids from New Zealand at 7 tonight.
