The $30 million dollar Damodar City Complex is now officially open to the general public.
While opening the complex last night, Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said that Damodar City will offer Fijians and visitors a top level shopping and entertainment experience, and it’s bound to become one of Suva’s most popular destinations.
Chief Executive Officer Div Damodar said the multi-million dollar project features close to 60 shops.
Damodar said the Complex will also feature four different types of cinemas which can be hired for other purposes.
The $30 million development will lead to the direct employment of around 600 people.
The first movie that will be screening in the Cinemas today is The Hobbit.
