A tip from a member of the public has led to the positive identification of a young boy who was being bullied, as seen in a viral social media video.

Police say the victim was identified and escorted to the Korovou Police Station where his statement was recorded.

They say investigations continue and the suspects are expected to be brought in for questioning soon.

The Fiji Police Force says they appreciate the sharing of information, and they plead once again with parents and guardians to continuously talk to their children about the importance of making wise choices and to ensure they choose the right group of friends that encourage positive growth, rather than leading them into troubling situations that they may regret later.
