Cape Town 7s: Fijiana to meet France in cup quarter-final

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side has booked a place in the Women's Cup quarter-finals of the Cape Town 7s tournament despite losing their final pool match to Australia by 28-7.

The Fijiana could not maintain the pressure of the game from the Australians and locked them 14-0 at halftime.

Australia scored another two tries in the second half leading by 28-0 before Vani Buleki scored a try for the final score of 28-7.

The Fijiana 7s will meet France in the cup quarter-finals at 7.44pm.

In the other quarter-finals, Australia will face Ireland in the second quarter-final at 7pm, New Zealand take on Canada at 7.22pm and Great Britain will play the USA at 8.06pm.
