Ba beats Labasa to win Women's IDC

The Ba Women's soccer team has won the Vodafone Women's IDC title after beating Labasa 3-2 in a scintillating final at Churchill Park this afternoon.

Ba scored twice within the first 20 minutes through Unaisi Ralumu and Cema Nasau to take a 2-0 lead.

Labasa struck back through Sofi Diyalowai and Vitalina Naikore to level the scores as both teams were locked 2 all at half time.

An individual brilliance from Nasau broke the hearts of the Labasa team when she scored the winner in the 90th minute.

Ba received $4000 in prize money while Labasa got $1,500.
