BSP Finance Limited launched this morning

People of Fiji can now benefit from BSP banks newest subsidiary BSP Finance Limited which was launched this morning.

Speaking at the official launch, BSP Group CEO Robin Fleming said BSP Finance’s flexible policies will provide a finance alternative to those who do not meet the guidelines for commercial banks.

He said BSP Finance structure is accommodating to smaller business including start-ups that lack the proven trading history in order to access capital funds from banks.

Fleming said BSP Finance Limited will allow far broader spectrum of clients to enjoy the services from the BSP Group.

BSP Finance General Manager Krishna Raju said it is more of an asset financing and for personal loans.

Raju said their main branches will be in Suva and Nadi but they will be using the BSP branches to provide information to the people.

Fleming said with the set-up of BSP Finance, the bank looks to reinforce its relationship with the Government of Fiji by extending its services to a higher risk segment so access to capital is easier.
