NFP Leader, Professor Biman Prasad and Government Whip and Assistant Minister for Employment, Alvick Maharaj.

NFP Leader, Professor Biman Prasad has urged the Government to support the motion that the Standing Committee on Natural Resources review the performance of non-sugar agriculture and let the Standing Committee be chaired by their own Assistant Ministers who do not do much anyway.

Prasad says Assistant Ministers sit in the Standing Committees all the time.
