Alison Burchell appointed Permanent Secretary for Education

The Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sports Alison Burchell has been appointed as the Permanent Secretary for Education.

This has been confirmed by the Chairman of the Public Service Commission Vishnu Mohan.

In a statement, Mohan says the Permanent Secretary for Education Iowane Tiko has been appointed as the new Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sports.

These changes come into effect immediately.

The appointments have been made with the agreement of the Prime Minister.
