In celebration of their 138th anniversary in Fiji, ANZ has announced that from the 1st of December this year, it will be removing a number of charges for their customers.

These include the removal of EFTPOS fees on all ANZ accounts, removal of transfer fees through the use of ANZ Internet Banking and ANZ Pacific App, as well as the removal of bill payment fees whether it is paid in person or via their internet banking.

In the 2018/19 National Budget it was announced that there will be no charges for use of cards at EFTPOS terminals as of the 1st of January, 2019.

ANZ Fiji Country Head Saud Minam says the bank is offering one of the best market leading rates to its customers in Fiji.

Minam says there is healthy competition for term deposit rates in Fiji and they want to ensure they are giving their customers reliable growth over the long term adding that customers can expect more initiatives in the near future.

Currently ANZ has 250,000 customers of which one hundred and fifty thousand are card holders and twenty thousand make use of their internet banking services.
