74-year-old Ravi Pratap and 69-year-old Savita Devi.

A 21-year-old woman from Solovi, Nadi who has lost both her grandparents due to COVID-19 on the same day is calling on Fijians to act now and get fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and save their elderly family members.

Patricia Joshlein says her paternal grandparents, 74-year-old Ravi Pratap and 69-year-old Savita Devi died at the Nadi Hospital yesterday.

Joshlein says her grandparents had unfortunately received only their first jab.

She says it is too difficult to accept the fact that she will never be able to see her grandparents again.

Joshlein says her loss is unimaginable and calls on youngsters like her to get their parents and grandparents fully vaccinated.

Ravi Pratap and Savita Devi who were from Naboutini, Sabeto were admitted at the Nadi Hospital on Tuesday and passed away yesterday.
