Six people were taken into custody on Sunday morning in Nadawa for allegedly selling liquor without a valid license.

Police say the arrests followed a raid conducted by the Southern Division Taskforce at the shop, where assorted liquor was seized.

The six people remain in custody as investigations continue.

Police has thanked the public for sharing information and urges anyone aware of illegal liquor sales to report directly to Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Kasiano Vusonilawe on 9904905.
