5 people win in Hot Bread Kitchen M-Paisa Promotion Prize Draw

5 people are making a great start to the weekend after winning some amazing prizes in the M-Paisa Promotion Prize Draw, which was held this morning by the Hot Bread Kitchen in collaboration with Vodafone.

Hot Bread Kitchen’s General Manager Business Development, Upashna Ben says the aim of the promotion was to engage customers and encourage cashless payments for their convenience.

She says they were amazed to see the level of customer engagement, with over 25000 people entering the draw.

Ben says Hot Bread Kitchen’s 25 bakeries around the country have been using the M-Paisa platform since the COVID pandemic, so they wanted to use this promotion as a way to give back to their customers.

She says it has been running for two months - from 5th March until the 30th of April - and customers entered the draw when they purchased goods over $10 using the QR payment method.

Vodafone Fiji’s Head of eCommerce, Shailendra Prasad says they have been trying to promote digital payments throughout the country, and bakeries are among the places where most transactions happen.

He says the main objective of this promotion was to build their partnership with corporate clients - not just big businesses but small businesses as well.

Prasad says the idea was to offer something compelling, which resonates with the younger generation and encourages more customers.

The winner of the major prize walked away with an iPhone 16 Pro Max, Air Pod, Air Tag, key tag and a $50 gift voucher from Hot Bread Kitchen.

There were also four consolation prize winners, who will each receive a Samsung Tablet, Galaxy Buds2 Pro and a $25 gift voucher from Hot Bread Kitchen.
