Two 16 and a 17-year-old teens have been further remanded by the Suva Magistrates Court in relation to an aggravated robbery in Wailoku on Sunday.

One of the 16-year-old and the 17-year-old appeared before Suva Magistrate Vinaina Diroiroi this morning, while the third did not appear after being given the wrong court date.

The 17-year-old told the court that he is attending a vocational school and hopes to become a welder, while one of the 16-year-olds said he is currently not in school but plans to return.

The matter has been adjourned to next Tuesday for a bail application in the High Court.

The three are jointly charged with one count of aggravated robbery and one count of theft.

A CCTV footage of the incident clearly shows an attempted robbery of a man by a group of young boys.
