250 still the cut-off mark to FNU’s School of Nursing
The Acting Vice Chancellor of Fiji National University, Professor Ian Rouse

The Acting Vice Chancellor of Fiji National University, Professor Ian Rouse confirmed that the total mark of 250 out of 400 in the Fiji Seventh Form Examination is still the minimum entry requirement to the University’s School of Nursing in Tamavua.

Several students who had applied for a spot at FNU’s School of Nursing had claimed that the cut off mark had been increased to 280 out of 400.

Rouse said all students with a mark of 250 and above will automatically be included in their selection process.

However students with higher marks will be given priority due to the high demand for the nursing course in the country.

He added that applications for the nursing school this year has been very competitive and this is all done for the betterment of the nursing profession in Fiji.
