$20,000 prize money for McDonald's Fiji Coral Coast 7s for men division

A lucky team that will win the McDonald's Fiji Coral Coast 7s for men will walk away with $20,000 and the i-Wau trophy.

Fiji Coral Coast 7s organiser says that teams like Red Rock, Yamacia Rugby, First Light Taveuni, Police, Wardens, Army and some 7s teams from a board participate in this tournament.

They say the total prize pool for the 2024 McDonald's Fiji's Coral Coast Sevens is $ 75,000.

They further say that the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort Youth division champion will walk away with $ 10,000.

They are happy due to the tremendous support of the youth division can provide such a substantial prize money offer which could help further develop the next generation of 7s stars and of course help develop the winning club side.

Teams like Tuva Rugby,Lelean Memorial and Fiji U20s youth 7s teams from Japan, and Australia will also be fixtures in this tournament.

Meanwhile, for their women's champion, the winner will walk away with $15,000 and the Na Iri trophy.

They add with the support towards the women's division they can provide prize money parity with the men's division based on the participation.

Teams like Fijiana, Striders, Aussie Pearls and other 7s teams from a broad will participate in the Coral Coast 7s.

The McDonald's Fiji Coral Coast 7s will be held from the 18th to the 20th of January 2024 at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.
