200 families in Sakoca in Nasinu can expect consistent water supply following planned works by the Water Authority of Fiji in the area from 8am to 8pm next Tuesday.

People living in Sakoca will be experiencing low water pressure to no water next Tuesday.

Sakoca is one of the areas that constantly faces water disruptions.

Residents say they can face water disruptions for two or three consecutive days sometimes and in the evenings there is really low water pressure from around 7pm.

The Water Authority of Fiji says ground teams will be carrying out cut-in works for the installation of air valves and pressure reduction valves.

This will result in more water at a good pressure for Sakoca residents.

The Water Authority of Fiji says water carting trucks are on standby to service the affected areas during the temporary disruption period.
