2 Fijians top the number of yellow cards given to any player in this season of HSBC World 7s Series

Two Fijians currently top the number of yellow cards given to any player in the HSBC World 7s Series this season.

They are Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team Captain Meli Derenalagi and Tavite Veredamu of France who have received four yellow cards each this season.

Vilimoni Botitu and Waisea Nacuqu have also received 3 yellow cards each.

According to statistics provided by World Rugby, the Gareth Baber coached side has received 24 yellow cards this year which is the highest by any team.

Napolioni Bolaca is currently the top points scorer this season with 159 points while Aminiasi Tuimaba is the third-highest try-scorer in the series with 20 tries.

Next up on the HSBC World 7s Series are the London and Paris 7s tournaments in May.

The pools for the London 7s have not been released.
